Welfare Check Reveals Bodies

"COLUMBUS, OH — Police said a man killed a woman before taking his own life inside a South Columbus home.

"Officers said 51-year-old Kathy Shonkwiler's son hadn't heard from his mother and asked police to check on her Lewis Road home Tuesday.

"When officers arrived, they say they found Shonkwiler and Troy Stone, 46, dead.

"Investigators believe Stone killed Shonkwiler and then himself."
