Police claimed that 38-year-old Asit Bhanja owed nearly Rs 1 crore ($208,333 US)to banks, financial institutions, friends, relatives and guardians. "PLANTATION, FL - The victims: two women in their 20s, one a community college student with dreams of being a fashion designer, the other a recent arrival from Key West.

"The killer: a jilted boyfriend with a history of domestic violence who within hours took his own life with a bullet to the head on the side of a road.

"Under the harsh lights of an all-night gas station in Plantation, Jillian Hauck, 27, and Brooke Pazo, 22, were gunned down with multiple shots early Friday by a man who had shadowed them in a black car. Both lived in Plantation. Pazo was less than a mile from her home.

"`It appears that the motive in the Chevron shooting was domestic violence-related,` Rettig said. According to Rettig, at about 1 a.m. a dark green, two-door Acura owned by Hauck turned into the Chevron station at the northwest corner of Pine Island Road and Broward Boulevard and pulled up to pump 6. Divorce Was Too Much To Handle

"DADE CITY, FL — In a matter of days, things seemed to go from bad to worse for Terry Wayne Scott.

"Scott spent four days in the Pasco County jail after an April 17 arrest on charges of grand theft. Two days after his release, Scott's wife of 10 years filed for divorce.

"At some point, apparently, it became too much to handle.

"According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Scott, 59, fatally shot his wife, Veronica, and then killed himself Saturday at their Dade City home.

"Detectives were still investigating the shooting deaths Sunday, looking for more clues into what might have led to the grisly scene they found at the couple's mobile home at 14507 Mount Zion Road. The home sits on 2 acres of mostly sprawling pasture, far back from the road and down a long sandy drive, barely visible at night.

"Deputies were sent to the home about 8 p.m. Saturday to check on the pair, Doll said. Veronica Scott, a registered nurse, had not shown up for work that day and a co-worker was concerned.

"Earlier in the day, neighbors reported gunshots in the area but mostly thought nothing of it in such a rural area.
